Blue Tulip
We took in the Cameron Clay Products Company pottery show today. The factory employed many of the towns people and burnt down in 1964 leaving the town and the people in dyer straights. There was talk of rebuilding this factory that was organized in 1903 but it never happened. The factory was located here because of the cheap natural gas as well as local glass sand and raw limestone used to make the product. I have 2 pieces of ware and hope to collect a few more. A picture of the factory can be seen to the left.
