T is for Train Station

This is the futuristic train station in Newport; I think it looks rather cool and particularly liked the lines and shapes in this shot. The station still has parts of the old Great Western station, so there is a good mix of the old and the new. You can see the influence of Isambard Kingdom Brunel along the whole length of the old Great Western line, and I think it adds character to these train stations. This is another blip on one of the Great Western stations in Cardiff.

As you can probably guess I took the train today to Newport, where my mate then took me to work. Good to be in the office again, I hope I don't have a downer tomorrow when I'm working from home again like last week. I do enjoy the train there is no stress, apart from when it's late lol, and it gave me a chance to catch up with Blip commenting. I'm nearly there so it won't be long before I've caught up.

It was quite interesting on the way home; some woman went nuts and started hurling abuse to everyone, even saying that we were all damned to hell. I thought the police were going to get involved at one point. I've not had a train trip like that before!
