Dear Diary,
The ACC assessor came in today, was quite nice to get some of the things sorted.
I did some "sneaky" work today, sneaky cause I'm technically not allowed to do anything till 6th August. My team mates were very nice, they told me not to do anything, they will cover for me. But I just somehow gets a bit panicky and feel anxious for not doing what I'm supposed to do. I guess probably because I'm used to be on the go all the time and I actually do really enjoy what I do for work; and perhaps partly because of where I was bred and raised. Back in the days when I was still in HK (parents sent me to NZ since 15), everyone is expected to be at school or at work unless you're dying or physically can't get there! Cause it's our "responsibility". I'm talking about even if you get a high fever or very sick (of course, i'm referring to times before SARS outbreak).
Anyway, I did some super light work, mostly organizing things via email (discussed with my boss, this is what he allows me to do for the moment, he's far too nice!). It's enough to keep me a bit more sane than last few days. Even my flatmate said so! :) But I am also getting a bit tired now. I guess I now understand why they said I need to rest. I might take it easy while try to slowly build up the work load, so I can at least prep myself to get back to work (hopefully sooner rather than later!)
