Up In The Air

Deershed Festival - Backblip Day 2 (Days 1 & 3 backblipped)
One of the things that makes Deershed a family festival is the activities available for the kids, there are science workshops, story-tellers, craft tents, circus classes, a 'kidditch' match (on real broomsticks), games pitches and an area where the kids get to use their imaginations as they are provided with straw bales, cardboard boxes and blue drums and there is always a theme..this year was 'Up In The Air'.

With it being a fairly small festival the music is not about the big names but about discovering new music. Todays bands were a mixed bunch including The Wedding Present, The Hinds and the headline act was John Grant...as they say "some you lose".
