2015 Sunday -- Ashly Exits China

This photo was taken 20 hours ago in China. Our granddaughter sent it to us (well actually she posted it on Facebook).
 
Today our granddaughter Ashly made her exit from China where she has spent the past month teaching English. She went with a group of other Cal Poly students and her professor. I’m quite delighted that she was able to have this experience.
 
I’m anxious to see her and talk all about the experience. We won’t, though, get to see her until we get back to southern California at the end of August. I’m not sure when she begins her autumn quarter at the university, but I think she’ll report back to work tomorrow at the plumbing construction company where she is employed. She is a go-getter and a hard-charger.
 
She is the delight of our lives and has been since she was born almost 27 years ago.
