" OH MC'DONALD HAD A FARM "
It has been an emotional weekend. We enjoyed staying at Westleigh Farm House, in the middle of 'nowhere'. Difficult to find but wow - what an amazing place, like stepping back in time. These little beauties were walking around the place when we arrived.
The party was a success and all those involved with the catering did a stirling job. There was a huge hog roast with all the extras and over 200 people were in attendance. The marquee was full to bursting and the disco was extremely loud with everyone up on the dance floor. It was a celebration of two people spending the last 20 years together.
After the celebration of the party, today we visited our special boys. Adrian has been suffering with a damaged big toe. So we went to see him. Trust me, if it was me I would be demanding attention. Why is it when someone is handicapped they get second best.
I will be making protestations as to why he is suffering!!
It is good to be back home, we have missed being here and do not miss Somerset. Although Stogumber is set in an amazing setting , here is so large and open.
Tomorrow Mr A will collect the cats and we are expecting our first visitors. We are also having to have to oil tank replaced as the one in place has been condemned!!!
I hope you have all enjoyed the weekend and the week ahead brings you laughter and not sadness. Thankyou for the kind comments on my first rose, wishing you all a good week ahead. xxx
