Fireworks for SeaFest.
Fireworks over the South Bay of Scarborough. As part of the annual SeaFest event which is based on the West Pier (Fish Pier) of Scarborough Harbour.
We can see fireworks over the South Bay from near to our home on the South Cliff, but for once we decided to watch them from beach level.
So after a leisurely walk along Foreshore Road and Sandside and back we sat at an outside table at Farrars Bistro on the Spa, ordered and enjoyed a pot of tea for two, then watched the excellent display in comfort.
A ride up the steep cliffs in England's First Funicular Railway ended a very pleasant evening.
