Cut Log

We went out this morning for our walk - ahead of the rain that was forecast for around lunchtime. It was pleasantly warm and there was a nice breeze to blow the cobwebs away.

We walked on the permissive path that runs alongside the edge of Bramham Park Estate.

A little while ago some trees were cut down to make way for a new power line to carry electricity from a digester plant installed by the estate.

I stopped at the log piles and noticed the sun was shining across the cut surfaces and highlighting the textures of the saw marks .
