Oompah Bands and Pancakes

Another lovely day with the Thies Marleys. Jens cooked breakfast and the kids played. Once we were all finally ready to get going we went to St. Pieterberg where we walked up a gentle hill passing by Andre Rieu's hoose and a wee chapel before chilling out at the restaurant, drinking a Hugo with Laura and watching a traditional Dutch village band playing.
We were sad to say goodbye and promised not to leave it so long next time. Floss fairly powered up the motorway and we wee back at the campsite by 5.30. We went for a late swim and were all agog when the jobby bandy net came out again. Gads min. Instead of cooking we ordered some pizza and nelly persevered at the monkey bars. As one Dutch guy said to me- "She just keeps going and going...." They're pretty difficult as they're not actually bars but rings that are spaced quite far apart for kids.
Nelly was delighted to be left in charge whilst we went to do the dishes, we had a couple of games of Uno before the kids went to bed. Floss is having a Stella cidre and I'm trying to finish off my Lidl wine so as not to waste it.
