Porty People and Places

I took this view of my transport into town, in the rain, this evening. I liked the reflection of the 26 bus in a mirror in one of the charity shops on the Portobello High Street.

I met up with one of my former senior colleagues from my Doha days for a catch up drink. She is home from the desert and had no complaints about our cool non-existent summer!

Edinburgh is rapidly turning into a festival city with international visitors everywhere. I wonder what on earth they must think of the mini bomb sites as one by one the city's  bus shelters are demolished and replaced by ones that provide less shelter but earn tram debt revenue by splurging digital billboard info at us in migraine inducing pixels.
