Shining like sapphires

These salvias are the most fantastic blue.......and were sparkling away besides our pond, but after a brightish morning, the cloud descended and by 11 the rain arrived :-(

Em has gone to stay with her Dad for a couple of days, so we have not been watching Monsters Inc today...........F1 was a bit if a disappointment, what was Lewis doing?!!

Roast chicken dinner today followed by bread and butter pudding with custard......it felt decidedly autumnal this afternoon. This evening we have been round to daughters house to look at the progress on their extension. Their builder reckons it will be another 3 weeks before it's finished......which is a little disappointing for them as they had had indications that it would be near enough ready for moving back in roundabout now.

We are having a relaxing day all round today, just going to watch some TV, if there is anything worth watching!
