View from the lounger

Decided on a quieter day after the walking marathon yesterday, so just strolled into town this time along the north shore and watched the world go by from a cafe with an iced coffee for a while. Cloudier than yesterday but warm-this should probably have been our walking round the city day, but never mind.
Back to the hotel and decided to go down to the beach and read. I glanced up at one point and saw the life guard so snatched a blip.
Dinner at the beach restaurant just behind here...delicious seafood pasta, then 'home' for prosecco and chocolate and I continued reading the Jan Morris 'Venice' book that's full of interesting little details about the place.
