'Doon the Watter'

What a wonderful day we had for our trip to the West :-)
When we arrived at Tighnabruaich the village was mobbed.
There was a shinty game taken place and the Waverley had arrived at the pier at Tighnabruaich :-)
Lots of folk were enjoying their trip doon the watter in the lovely summer sunshine :-)
We had a lovely time walking along the front at Tighnabruaich enjoying all the sights.
My image is of the Waverley as it pulled away from the pier at Tighnabruaich against the backdrop of the Isle of Bute.
It then did a nifty turn and headed back up the Kyles as can be seen from my extra shot.
Such a beautiful day the North end of Arran was visible from Tighnabruaich, my other extra shot :-)
After  a late lunch at the Tighnabruaich Tearoom we headed back to Glendaurel and our B&B at the Watermill.
