A washout!

I'm afraid the BBQ was a washout!
Back home and have put the heating on!
Chris cooked the sausages etc. inside.
There was also a table full of salmon, ham, cheese, various salads, etc. areal feast.
Then another table groaning with desserts.
About 15 to choose from!
We have some very good cooks in our walking group,
I had strawberries , black currant cheese cake, trifle, and fresh fruit salad. Just a little of each!
Plenty to drink as well. I made some lemonade for the drivers, and we also took some white wine.
42 of us had a very enjoyable afternoon, in spite of the poor weather. Nice and cosy inside.
Many thanks to C. for having us all at her house again. She is amazing ! Late 70's and had a mastectomy only a couple of months ago. Has also had a hip replacement last year.
Always bright and cheerful. She can't walk as far these days, but often does part of a walk.
Loves gardening, and has a beautiful garden.
A real inspiration to us all.
