Pond life

A nice visit to the Japanese garden at Lauriston Castle today.  Here we are.

One time Lauriston castle was on a TV show we watch - Covert Affairs.  How exciting for a bunch of (fictional) American spies to come to a Scottish Castle not a mile from my own house.  Except it was Lauriston Castle in name alone sadly.  Boo.  The Lauriston Castle on the TV show was a great big castley castle filled with tourists and so on.  The real Lauriston Castle is more of a big house surrounded by elderly people playing croquet.
