Uath Lochan

The first 'real' day of tour out in the forest took place around the very pretty Uath Lochan, seen here as we arrived at the carpark for the first of several training exercises.  Today the juniors had exercises on pacing and bearings before making use of their skills in a star relay.  After lunch we returned to Lagganlia and walked out into the local forest for a 'distraction' exercise where the coaches do their best to thwart the concentration of the athletes as they follow their courses.  Now it's debrief hour before a very welcome evening meal!
