Herons and grass in the morning

I couldn't decide between these two shots.

Both are similar, but the one I chose has the herons in focus.  The extra photo has the grass in focus.

If any of you would be willing to give me a critique, I would be interested in your feedback  about which photo you would prefer and why, as a help in my blip education.  :-)
