It's relaxing

I started with a session in the gym and pool.  For a Sunday it was quiet. The aquafit class was noisy, though, and we had to run the gauntlet past Lichfield's answer to the Specsavers advert.

At home I got totally absorbed in "H is for Hawk".  How come a book (which is not technically classed as fiction) about training a goshawk can be so compulsive, so emotional - and just get to you !!!!

Breaks for the grand prix (though I was reading and missed the best bits),  to make some hummus, and for the odd game of Scrabble on the iPad.

Weatherwise it was a wash out - but that can be magically peaceful too.
