A Day At A Time.

Cave Dwellers

Up early this morning for a dip and a walk along the beach while the tide was still out.

Then, after a lazy breakfast on our balcony, we set off for Benagil to take a tour of the caves, which proliferate this coastline.

We paid our money and scrambled on to a motor boat which took eight of us. We sat at the very front and had a great view of 20 different sized caves, all fascinating, some with holes in the roof to the sky, others with sandy beaches at the end.

We had a short stop at Cathedral Cave and were able to swim in the sea from the beach inside. This shot is from the beach.

We returned to the resort to find that due to management changes, the restaurant was barely functioning, so we ate at the same place as Saturday.
