Dawn of a new era

I wondered last night what the sunrise would be like this morning. Would it be spectacular or offer some definitive sign that times will be changing today?

It didn't look like the sweeping, biblical sunrises I love finding on blip. It didn't have mindblowing color like the awesome sunrises we are often treated to by Tucson Jim.

What it did have was a golden clarity and freshness and when viewed through my favorite eighty foot, droopy spruce tree across the alley, it sparkled!

I had found my sign.
