Playing with myself
I'm sure I've done a similar shot before in similar circumstances. That time I did it using a bit of selective colouring, this time I've gone plug in crazy and opted for some slight motion blurring on my hands and legs. Creative? Not really. Just lazy.
In other news its Euro 2012 going on at the minute. I suppose for 80% of blip users it will mean one thing: crap TV for a few weeks. For the remaining 20% who fully appreciate the majesty and grace of our national game it will of course mean much more.
I have been getting a bit sick of a few aspects of the tournament though, specifically how some of the English respond. Firstly our newspapers are a disgrace, and I'm not just talking about the gutter tabloids either. For some reason the press want to pull the lads out there apart and yet claim to be backing them - it's abhorrent. Okay John Terry is a thug, an arsehole and the sort of person I'd never want in my house BUT his profession is football and until he is found guilty of a crime then he shouldn't be stopped from doing his job. I don't like him and I believe he made racist remarks - but the fault lies with the FA and the police for not hearing the case at all or until July (respectively).
I also have a minor issue with the part time charlies. A local council estate is littered with flags hanging from windows and in the gardens: flags that are not there the rest of the year. When The Imps reached the play offs those houses didn't have flags, so they don't contain passionate football fans. They contain people who have a passion for putting tat up outside their house in a supposed show of patriotism, but then are happy to sit around on their arses claiming benefits and draining the country dry.
Grrrr. Where was I?
No, it's gone.
