Sophia Gardens

We went to see As You Like It performed by the Everyman Theatre. It was an open air production and it absolutely poured with rain. It was good and well-acted. I did enjoy it ... but I miss the use of scenery and costumes. I understand that such things are expensive but they do so add to the magic of a performance. This is the second production I have been to this year which was a little too stark in presentation for my taste. 

Although the stage only consisted of a metal walkway with stairs up to it and two fake trees, the real trees behind the stage were magnificent.
