So proud...

My Grandad passed away on the 13th July 2015.

Grandad served in WW2 and he experienced many things - both good (playing football for the Royal Engineers at the Olympic Stadium in Rome) and bad (being one of the first into the Belsen concentration camp). We got in touch with the local paper, the Leicester Mercury, and knew they were going to do an article but never expected it to be a full page, let alone a mention on the front page too! It was a lovely surprise for my Grandma.

Am so proud he was my Grandad.
