Cereal

Our not very big garden gets not very much attention from two people who know not very much about gardening. But about twice a year I feel motivated to do something about it and today had the bonus of being both sunny and sodden underfoot, making weed-pulling easier. So out came masses of goose grass, ivy and a couple of things that must be weeds as I could see them spreading in front of me. And blow me down, I discovered that we have a cereal crop! Wheat, I think. How on earth did that end up under the yew trees?
