And bad weather it is

After a long period of looking outside and complaining about the weather, I decided on preparing a fresh beetroot salad with the fresh taste of summer, followed by the crème brûlée I always wanted to make but never find time to. I'm certainly no chef. The caramelising didn't go well. I have no idea how to do that.
