Surfers day

The good thing about sharing the boathouse with surfers is that there are almost never boat jams. Or the conditions are fine for rowing or windy enough for surfing. Today definitely for surfing with stormy gusts.

We tried this morning to go out with an eight, although knowing about the strong wind forecast for later in the day. When meeting at 7 am everything was still calm. Getting the boat on the water a few minutes later the wind started as switched on by someone. We had no choice than to lift the boat out of the water and to go to the local bakery for coffee & croissants.
