Beach Cricket

Keep this to yourselves but on the Solway Coast is a teeny little-known haven called Powfoot. Only a couple of streets looking directly onto the Solway Firth.
Perfect for our car picnic. Watched a family playing beach cricket, we were backed by the village bowling green and baked under a rare Scottish sun... scoffed locally picked strawberries, and had Gerry Rafferty on the cd player... ah... doesn't get much better
