Skier meets Dog Sled

What a wonderful day it has been at the Snow Farm, with many interesting events taking place.  Today we walked down Hanging Valley onto River Run, then down the valley to Meadow Hut.  A long walk back up the hill to the base building.  It was a bit windy today, but we still enjoyed the day.  We watched the car testing, then on the way back there was a ski race, which I have put up as an extra photo, along with the Hanging Valley ski trail, featuring Carole, Rosemary and Gordon.  Once again we had to wait for a ride back to Wanaka as the Committee was having a meeting.  Home now, safe, sound and nice and warm in front of a hot fire.  I am sure i will sleep well tonight.
