Dog Tired . . .

or “Will You Stop Flashing That Thing at Me!!”



A few days ago I dug out my old Canon FT QL, and with it my Cobra Auto 210 flashgun.  Today I experimented to see if the Cobra would work properly with my 7D.  Well after a bit of fiddling to get things set up the answer was yes.
 
We are Biskit sitting so someone made a good model for the session.  To be honest I think this flash has brought out the details of his coat better than all previous efforts.
 
So now I’ve got another tool in the camera arsenal.
 
I think that the FT QL with its telephoto lens and extension tubes etc may well be a still life subject in the near future.
