Baby Rabbit

Quite a while ago I was given an old pamphlet which was a visitors' guide to Dingwall. On the back a map with several points of interest. So off I went this afternoon hoping to blip some piece of history. Dingwall is quite a nice place which some may consider run down but it has free parking and a more leisured atmosphere than Inverness. There were one or two showers but I carried on anyway. Had a nice wander down past the old castle dovecot and the Dingwall Canal - built by Telford but now hardly recognisable as a canal although you can still see some man-made structures in the banks. Crossing the railway I watched this small black rabbit happily munching away at the side of the track. It was disturbed by a family with bikes struggling to cross ('kissing gates' not designed for bikes) and ran off. Perhaps as well as a train came almost straight away. I'll have to go back to get the history bits.
