Hotel Castell and Piper

The hotel Castell is one of five in the village of Zuoz, sits prominently above the village and just off from the ski tracks in the winter. Piper, the dog, is a little perkier in the evenings than earlier in the day and has been extending her evening stolls to a slightly higher altitude. When she was younger she used to jump up above the wheat/hay ready to pounce on her suspecting prey. Although her jumping days are over (like me!) she was having a lot of fun out there tonight.
If you are wondering what the odd shaped feature on the left hand side is, it is a kind of observatory/architectural cylinder with a semi-hollow roof: a great place for meditation.
