Wet walk

It hasn't stopped raining all day today so we just hunkered down and watched Le Tour de France.

However Ali's dog Bess needed a walk so we all went out in the rain.  The wet did make the colours and light very nice.

I've had bad news today as after spending many hours over the past 3 weeks trying to sort out a broadband connection for our village hall,  BT finally told me today that we will have to pay over £1000 for a new telegraph pole.  This was after I was assured on the phone on two occasions that the installation charge we had been quoted would cover all necessary work.  The order has therefore been cancelled while we consider other options
