Book town

Drove to Sedbergh this afternoon for a weekend of walking in the Howgills. Forecast on the iffy side, so have plenty of waterproofs, gaiters, woolly hat, gloves, etc. Hope I don't need them.

Wonderful moment en route when I discovered that our very elderly Peugeot has an old fashioned cigarette lighter that would not power the sat nav!! Friendly lorry driver helped with map.

Had a quick look around town centre. Lots of shops for tourists and walkers. St. Andrew's church in centre has beautiful garden and interesting windows.

The claim to be a book town is fulfilled at every turn!
