Woodhorn Country Park...
...and Museum... near Ashington.
A thistle & bee for Flower Friday, and The Cutter from the museum & galleries building as an extra.
I was particularly keen to see the Pitmen Painters exhibition, but there was also a gallery dedicated to the work of Norman Cornish, who documented life in a different local mining area.
We liked the sound installation too - weird, but in a good way - based on changing rock formations up the coast, with a score inspired by Northumbrian music.
