Goldfinch....

on a glorious day! When we arrived,  the wind from the north was icy, Within minutes, the sun came out, and we were stripping off. A beautiful blue sky, the perfume of the dune flowers and the heat of the sun were very welcome. There were families of Goldfinches flitting around, Terns and oystercatchers. The Restharrow, shown in the extra was luxuriant. The extra view is right across the Firth to Caithness.
