IMPACT Zanzibar Taking the hospital to the people

IMPACT Zanzibar's mobile clinics take medical care and health screening to underserved communities.  Volunteers help to screen patients for signs of disease and provide treatments for common conditions, such as impacted earwax and hypertension.  More serious cases are referred to our partner hospitals in Pemba and Unguga, or to one of IMPACT's treatment and surgical camps, which specialise in orthopaedic, ENT, obstetrical and gynaecological conditions.
