Velvet

These darn things self seed and run rampant every year. I always say I'm gonna pull 'em out, then they flower, and they remind me of velvet. I pass them every morning when I take the dog and my coffee outside, and see them in my rear-view when I leave for work. A wall of green and purple. 

I also have the traditional Heavenly Blue, but they aren't quite so profuse.
