The Beggars last penny

We went for a walk round the Burrell Collection in Pollock Park today as our holidays are nearly over for another year .
When I was growing up this picture was hung in the kelvingrove museum as the Burrell had not been built yet and  I always knew this picture as " The beggars last penny"well I learnt something new to day as its proper name is "The charity of a beggar of Ornans".
Sorry but I think my name is better.
Can a name be changed.
