Back to torturing teaching Germans today, discovered that 'anxious' (obvs) and 'proposal' are...tricky to pronounce and that one of my students has come back from a lad's holiday in Mallorca with plans to abandon Germany and office work and move to the beach to set up his own business selling alcoholic slush ice, because no one else does...

In other news, the internet came back, all by itself, 23hours after leaving home, we're still letting Telekom come by and play tomorrow anyway because according to the teen (who has been their contact point throughout) they're sending a 'crack' team to come sort the problem out - I'm hoping they come abseiling out of a helicopter all dressed in black...
