Transformers in de skies?!!
Weather didn't start off too great but by the time we were ready and had driven to Southport it was looking brighter, with blue skies nearer the coast.
We headed straight for Pleasureland, as Em was keen to go,n the funfair! She went on quite a few by herself, but grandma had to go on the faster ones with her.........it's surprising how fast they are, and how much they shake you around!! We went on something called the Crazy Mouse, it didn't look too bad, but once it got going it was fast and constantly turning......not something I'll be rushing to do again anytime soon!
Grandy went on a tame train ride with her and then they were waiting to go on the Ghost Train, but it suddenly broke down, much to their disappointment!
We played "Hook a duck" and won a prize...Em chose a little cream fluffy rabbit, to go with her other zillions of soft toys!!
Then it was off for Fish and Chips for lunch.... together with the traditional bread and butter and a mug of tea! Emily ate most of hers....then we went off to an outdoor play area beside the boating lake. It was busy but Em enjoyed herself.
Then it was off back to the car, via an ice ream stall, grandy had. Large rum and raisin cone and Em had a tub of Mr Whippy with a flake ;-)
On the way home she fell asleep in the car, we had walked a good way........the journey took twice as long due to a jack-knifed artic on the opposite side of the M6!!
I was going to blip one of the rides....but I quite liked the top of this ride, complete with seagull on its head......and I was dying to use the title I'd thought up!!!!
Emily was happy to see her mum who has just arrived back home after being away for a few days :-)
