I am a ;little apt to charge ahead with things sometimes in the wrong order, this was a case in point - the garden wall had needed painting for sometime , I tried to wait for a weekend when Big would feel like doing it, mean while I could not resist buying this passionflower which was to climb up said wall, well it has taken so long that the plant had been growing rapidly and rather than let it go up the wall too soon ,I kept restricting it's growth to ground level - so reader , it was obvious that he just wasn't inclined to do it so got on with it myself ; ahhh a complete tangled mess of shoots etc had to be sorted out ( it took me days) but finally it is happy clinging to new wire trellis work , and it repaid me by flowering today ! Hooray !
