BRIGHT LIGHT ON A DULL DAY

Rain in the morning, rain in the afternoon
but in the middle of the day
bright sharp light when the sun emerged from behind the clouds. 
I wondered if there was anyone aboard the sub and if so, what were they doing in that confined space?
