Nesting, Lunnasting & Delting
As I said yesterday, I cycled to Vidlin. I stopped at Burn of Lunklet and Voe on the way.
I heard an interesting story about Burn of Lunklet from my host father. On the Burn of Lunklet there is a waterfall called Ramnahol, which means 'Ravens' nest' in Vikings' language. Surprisingly, ravens are still nesting there, which means they've been nesting at the same place over the period of 1000 years.
I was absolutely exhausted since I was facing the wind all the way back.
The extra photos are of Ramnahol, and the village of Voe, respectively.
