Life on the Good Intent

Up on Polmont Hill

Despite a long hard day at work I chased the light last night. Tantalising glimpses of the sun drew me off the M9 and over to Polmont Hill. Unfortunately the sunset was still in the early stages, but I liked this shot of the cow parsley silhouetted against the clouds.
Hunger drove me home for a very late dinner - but my poor luck in getting a good blip was not important. The results we got in the lab today will have left at least three families in total shock and sorrow. Even though I don't know them, the picture in my mind tonight is their numb tear stained faces.
