El Grec

First time ever visit to the open air amphitheatre that is the centre of El Grec Festival in Barcelona. They have very rich offerings and we came along at the prompting of Undercovercairo, the English teacher of Yasheen, who is staying with us at the moment - he and his brother are loving the classes.

We saw Jordi Savall and his Balkan Ensemble . . . Took us back to our days in Hungary which seem to escape the Balkans label . . . 'Bal' means honey and 'kan' means blood. Sums it up.
