Tobacco Stilll Grows

It seems strange to see a field of tobacco since the production of this product has been drastically reduced.  My hometown was know as the World's Largest Bright Leaf Tobacco Market when I was a boy.  Working in tobacco (meaning helping to harvest the leaves) was a popular summer job when I was growing up. When I say popular, I mean based on the availability of jobs and not on the desirability of the work.  Peeling tobacco gum off my hands at the end of a day is a teenage memory I won't forget.  This photo is near my hometown about 2 miles from my dentist's office.
