Stacked

Operation Stack in Kent is now in its sixth week where lorries are literally stacked up for 30 miles along the M20 motorway due to a backlog at the ferry ports.

It causes total chaos around the villages making travel a nightmare. It's affecting local people and businesses and is a real pain in the butt.

Work is busy but buzzing. Early start today for a photoshoot at a racecourse so was up at 6am and out the door by 7. The motorway wasn't much fun this morning either so it's been a long day with five hours' driving.

Met a friend enroute home to plan our journey to the fly2help aviation charity hangar party Friday night in Gloucestershire. The forecast is rain and low cloud so flying isn't an option sadly.

Mind you with a 50s style cocktail bar in an old VW camper and music til 1am I doubt flying would be realistic!

Skipping dinner for the second consecutive night as am so tired my eyes are literally going cross eyed and need to be safe to drive tomorrow morning. Am behind on freelance work, laundry and colouring my hair so will have to postpone until tomorrow eve.
