THERE WILL BE BLOOD

Local blood donor sessions are in the Town Hall Theatre, a late Victorian building, and the glitter ball was hanging above the busy area. The chair I sat in when donating faced the lighting and projection boxes, and I'm always reminded (for some strange reason) of the denouement scene in The Manchurian Candidate where Lawrence Harvey assassinates Angela Lansbury from up there (not in Hartlepool, obviously…)
