Comic Relief

Well, there I was thinking my summer hols had started, winding down form the stresses and strains of work when I got a call asking me to go in to work today because the reception teacher was ill. Not a particularly difficult day ; a
lengthy church service followed by DVD, although the children were pretty tired and whiney.
I got a nice load of pressies and said some sad goodbyes to some gorgeous children. The year 6 leavers presented our Headteacher with this amazing picture.
They paraded out of church to the strains of 'Jerusalem' and rapturous applause. An emotional moment,
Pops and Alfie are pleased to have finished. We celebrated with a trip to Byron Burger this evening.

D and I and are anxiously watching the weather forecast for Saturday night. It's not looking great at the moment but there's still time for everything to change. Fingers crossed!
