Privilege

I have much gratitude that the city provides a designated parking spot for disabled people in front of our house. I just needed to show my disabled parking permit and give them a good reason why I needed the spot. The original spot was installed a few years ago; since then we've added a ramp to the house and my access to the ramp has changed, so I requested they move it back so I wouldn't have to walk in the street from car to sidewalk. Again, I just had to give them a legitimate reason why the spot needed to be moved. The crew showed up this morning and within a half hour, I had a new parking spot. 

It provided entertainment for the toddlers, always a bonus (see in the extras).
